—–REPLACE OR ELIMINATE?

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, YEP……… we got 11 people in the Honda Accord. We probably need to ELIMINATE!

How does this apply to my marketing life? As I enter this wonderful undertaking of Affiliate Marketing, my mentor Dean, is strongly encouraging me to identify and eliminate bad habits and excuses. I know

this is a powerful and proactive approach to my personal development and self-improvement. Here are some of our thoughts on this topic:

  1. By identifying my negative patterns and acknowledging the excuses I may use to justify them, I gain a greater focal point in my goals.
  2. I know taking responsibility for my actions and behaviors is crucial. I have to acknowledge that I am in control of my habits and the proper habits empower me to make positive changes. (I can not say “the Devil made me do it”…LOL)
  3. Mindset shift: Viewing challenges as opportunities for learning and improvement can help me break free from the cycle of excuses. The statement should not be “I wish it was easier”…… I will say, “This will make me better”.
  4. Replace instead of eliminate. If procrastination is a bad habit for us, finding productive ways to use our time can be a more sustainable approach than simply trying to stop procrastinating altogether.
  5. With consistent effort and commitment, I am finding, are keys to successfully eliminating bad habits and excuses. Making small, incremental changes and sticking to them over time can lead to significant improvements in my life.

So, for me, surrounding myself with supportive individuals like Dean and his support team Glenn, Sophie, Laura, and Chris encourage me, guide me and help hold me accountable and are directing me in the confident path of  success. Whether it’s friends, family, or a mentor, having someone to lean on during challenging times can make a big difference. Find your mentor.

Adopting a growth mindset and a desire to change we can then make meaningful strides towards becoming the best versions of ourselves. Yes, be the best you can be. We will be held accountable to our Creator and Designer. He has given all of us gifts and talents He expects us to use and multiply.

TRUTH TAG:  The darkness around me becomes as bright as the noon day sun. You, Holy Spirit God, guide me continually. You saturate me with water when I am dry. You abundantly restore my strength. I am like a well-watered garden and ever-flowing spring. I maintain my relationship with You, Father, through continual fellowship. I will spend time with You, my Father, because You are my delight and my heart’s desire. Today, I will display your goodness to all those around me!

  1. Replace not eliminate reminds me of when my Boston Terrier grabs something he shouldn’t, I like to give him something he is permitted to have, take away the bright shiny object rather than eliminate everything all together. He seems to appreciate the gesture lol.
